Chopper Spins Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Popular California Beach
A helicopter flying above a crowded coastal beach abruptly commenced twirling wildly, eventually dropping height and smashing into a line of palm groves as spectators looked on.
Footage shared online capture the chopper beginning to twirl above the shoreline then plunging near the edge of the beach, where it becomes wedged among palms and a steps close to the shoreline route.
Emergency Response Details
The Huntington Beach fire department reported five individuals were taken to hospital including a pair who were in the aircraft and were “extracted safely from the crash site” following the accident on the weekend.
Three individuals on the street were injured. Specifics on their wounds were not yet released.
What led to the incident was still under investigation.

Authorities mentioned the chopper was connected to an annual “Cars and Copters” fundraising event planned for Sunday.
